Financial Protection
In order to comply with the Package Travel, Package Tours and Package Holidays Regulations 1992, all client money is independently held in trust by Protected Travel Services Ltd until your holiday has been completed. This protects all payments we receive from you against the unlikely event of our financial failure meaning that should such an event occur you will be able to have a full refund or continue your trip as normal. No money is paid to us until all the suppliers for your trip have been paid and you have completed your trip.

All of our stand alone coaching sessions do not require protection in line with the 1992 Package Travel Regulations and as a result will not be covered or protected by Protected Travel Services. If you are booking accommodation with coaching then your booking will automatically fall under the 1992 Package Travel Regulations and will be covered by Protected Travel Services.
All of our activities (including stand alone coaching sessions) are delivered by experienced and qualified instructors who are fully insured by Event Assured.

Swim Safety Policy
Gone Swimming take swim safety extremely seriously. We do enjoy to have a laugh with guests, and enjoy the swims - but swim safety is our absolute number one priority. This document outlines some of the basics of our safety procedures.
Each swim will have been fully risk assessed prior to the trip arriving at the swim venue, and upon arrival a dynamic risk assessment will take place. If for any reason, the Gone Swimming team are not confident that a safe swim can take place, Gone Swimming Limited reserves the right to cancel the swim. Clearly, this is not something that we want to do, and where possible we will always try to provide an alternative swim, but sometimes it just isn't safe - and we aren't prepared to take that risk with you.
By participating in a Gone Swimming holiday, you are acknowledging that open water swimming contains an intrinsic level of risk that is impossible to remove.
Environmental Policy
Introduction and aim
Gone Swimming is a small business that runs outdoor swimming holidays in North Wales. We operate from a variety of hostels and cottages around North Wales. We recognise that our operations could result in impact to the environment generally, and the sensitive ecosystems around the coastlines, rivers, and lakes in North Wales. It is our aim to comply with legislation and other requirements, continue to reduce the environmental impacts of our business and operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This policy describes how we will achieve our aim.
